Waveshare have released this neat little 7" touchscreen display for the Raspberry Pi! It's easy to set up, and comes complete with a black and white acrylic stand! This kit features a 1024x600 resolution screen.
This device uses the Pi's HDMI output for display, and the Pi's USB port for touch control.
1. Does this LCD come with Rev 2.1 firmware? Or is it an older revision? 2. When driven by a HDMI source other than a Raspberry Pi, can it handle resolutions diferrent than it's panel's native. For example, can it scale down Full HD signal correctly?
1. We stock that latest, Rev2.1 versions.
2. The screen does not handle any scaling, this needs to be done by the source.
