9V to Arduino Uno, 5V to servo shield?
Hi! I have the following power supply demands: - 9V through the Arduino Uno barrel input (with USB to barrel cable??) - 5V to a servo shield - 5V to an Arduino Nano with Myoware and 1-2 Relays Will this product work for my setup? Also the powerbank must be active during low current draw of 35 mA. Yours sincerely
Arash Gelichkan
  • This hub can only supply 5v, so it wont be able to provide 9v to the arduino.

Power solution for arcade cabinet?
I am building a small bartop arcade and the biggest issue I am facing is running out of USB ports meaning I will have to run some things from external power sources. Could I use this to power my Pi 3B+, USB Speakers (USB powered, 3.5mm input for audio), LED lights, HDMI LCD (currently runs from the Pi, not bothered about touchscreen function) and thus free up and use my Pi's own USB ports for direct input feeds like wireless keyboard dongle, joystick, etc? Also it states the top input is capable of powering 12v, I'm not too clued up on electrical limitations but my coin selector runs off a 12v adaptor, could I run a USB to Barrel Jack to power this also which would mean I am down to just one plug in the wall, the USB hub, which would be ideal. Cheers.
  • Yes, you should be able to power any 5V device quite happily providing the device doesn't draw more than 3A and that all of the devices connected to this doesnt draw more than 12A in total.

As for the 12V port. No this wont work. This power HUB uses SMART IC to determine the voltage supplied, this means that the device connected to this will tell it what voltage it would like. This is aimed at mobile phone charging.

Is this actually USB *HUB*
I am confused if this is only capable of powering off stuff connected to it, or can it actually work as a HUB as well? Can the attached USB devices see and communicate with eachother?
  • No, this simply provides power to the attached devices.

How does it know how much power to make available?
Powered by SMART IC, anidees USB Charger equipped with 6 ports that automatically identify your devices, and maximize charging speed. As the micro USB port is just apower port how does the charger know that it should not current limit at 500mA?

If you've got a stack of Raspberry Pi's and not enough wall space to plug all those pesky power supplies in, we have the perfect solution to neaten it all up! Powered by SMART IC, the Anidees 60W 6 Port USB hub takes up just one wall plug, but outputs up to 3A per USB slot (Max 12A Total). That's easily enough to power up to 6 Pi's @ 2A each!

If you want the ultimate solution checkout our Multi-Pi stackable case, and our on/off USB to Micro-USB cables!

Please Note. This products comes with a UK Power Adaptor Cable. The hub input is C7, known as Figure of 8, and EU/US customers will need to purchase the correct type separately.
