Hello! I would like to buy this case and ModMyPi PiOT Relay Board, but after reading through the assembly guide it seems that after connecting RPi and Relay Board with cable that comes with this case it's not possible to connect anything else to GPIO. But I need 3 GPIO pins for temperature and humidity sensor AM2302. Is it possible to achieve that? What additional accessories (40-pin headers, cables, etc.) will I need?
Assuming that the pins you want to use are NOT used by the PiOT Relay board, you could simply slice out the required wires from the ribbon cable and connect your other devices that way.
Alteratively, instead of using a ribbon cable, you could use some male to female jumper wires, and just connect the pins you need to relay board - leave the other pins free for your other devices.
The laser-cut parts of the case are protected by an adhesive film which needs to be removed before assembly. Bill of Materials ModMyPi PiOT Relay Board..
