NanoSound is a Raspberry Pi audio add-on board for audiophiles. With a 24bit / 112dB Hi-Fi Audio DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) onboard, it dramatically improves the audio quality of your Raspberry Pi!
The NanoSound DAC Pro Features:
Built in power switch to turn on and shut down the Raspberry Pi system (Same design as the Hackable Power Switch)
Includes an infrared receiver and remote control
6 x GPIO Button for Media Control
The NanoSounds DAC Pro features a 1.3" OLED display with multi-language support.
I would like to use this DAC but with a third party AMP add on, either a JustBoom AMP Zero pHAT or a HifiBerry Amp to boost output. Is this possible?
Most of the other AMPs have built in DACs so you would only need to use the AMP. There would be no need for this as well.
JustBoom AMP: "As well as an audio amplifier, digital to analog conversion is also included so no external sound cards or DACs are required."
HiFiBerry AMP: "digital-analog conversion included, no need for external DACs or sound cards"
