Why should I buy a Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi Case or Accessories from you?Expand

We're a small company based in the UK, we donate 5% of our profits straight back to The Raspberry Pi Foundation and we have an awesome website. We also price match all of our products against our competitors, and we have the widest range of peripherals, add-on boards and accessories based solely around the Raspberry Pi, than anyone else. Why do I need a Raspberry Pi Case?Expand

As a bare circuit board, the Raspberry Pi is a sensitive piece of electronic equipment and can be exposed to a variety of desktop hazards. Knocks, drops, dust and coffee spills (we’ve all done it). This can easily be prevented with a high quality Raspberry Pi case.

Why are your prices so reasonable?Expand

Yes they are aren’t they! Our Raspberry Pi Cases and accessories are manufactured in house here in the UK or via our partners in the EU, CN & US. As you are buying direct from the manufacturer (that’s us), or from one of our partner manufacturers, there is no middle-man so we can keep prices low!

What does my order status mean?Expand

Processing - Your order has been received, and our payment provider has confirmed payment.

Processed - Stock has been allocated to your order, and our warehouse team is in the process of picking, packaging, and labelling your order ready for dispatch.

Shipped - Your order has been released by our warehouse team into the hands of our delivery partner.

On Hold - We are awaiting a response from you regarding an issue with your order.

Verification Required - We are awaiting a response from you regarding payment verification.

Do you do international delivery?Expand

Yes, of course we do! In fact we deliver Raspberry Pi's all over the world!

How long will shipping take?Expand

Do you send orders tracked?Expand

All orders over £25 are sent via a tracked or signed for service, depending on the delivery region. Orders under this value will be sent as a standard postal parcel or letter, unless otherwise requested (at an additional fee) by the customer.

If you chose to send your order via a tracked service, your tracking details will be emailed to you the next possible working day. For example, an order marked as "shipped" on a Friday by our warehouse team will have their tracking details delivered automatically via email on Monday. Tracking numbers are not live until processed by our carrier, hence the short delay between dispatch and tracking availability.

How much will shipping cost?Expand

To calculate the shipping cost for your order:

  • Please add your desired items to your basket
  • Enter your basket, labelled "My Bag"
  • Enter your shipping country, city and postcode in the box labelled Estimate Shipping & Taxes in My Bag
  • This will allow you to calculate your shipping cost before checkout

My order hasn't arrived and I'm afraid it's been lost, will you help me?Expand

Of course! We cannot guarantee delivery in the periods specified. However, if the order remains undelivered for a period of 20 working days following the date of dispatch, we will either process a refund of the order or alternatively dispatch the order again. Once this time period has expired we can raise a claim with our carrier.

In order to raise a claim for a lost package, we ask you to fill out a short form, and complete a few checks. Through this process, we can ensure that your package is not waiting for you anywhere.

What methods of payment do you accept?Expand

ModMyPi utilises PayPal for PayPal payments, Worldpay for Debit & Credit Card Payments, and BitPay for BitCoin payments. We also accept payment via BACS for large orders.

Do I need to pay taxes?Expand

ModMyPi are based in the UK and subsequently charge VAT (currently 20%) on all orders shipped to the UK and VAT registered EU countries. Orders shipped outside the EU are not subjected to VAT and are therefore VAT exempt.  However, orders shipped outside the EU may be liable for import duty and taxes. Please check your resident country's import laws to clarify whether charges will be applied.

Purchases will be VAT exempt if you are a VAT registered EU business. Please register an account and contact us via the contact form to enable us to set up your exemption rates.

Am I entitled to a refund if I’m not happy with my order?Expand

That’s a real shame if you’re not happy with your order! We do our best to manufacture unique and high quality Raspberry Pi cases, and stock only the best accessories, so we would love to hear your feedback. Under distance selling regulations you are entitled to a refund within 10 days of the receipt of your items, as long as that item is unused and returned in its original packaging. We cannot accept returns for any items that have been customised.

Contact us via our contact form, stating a reason for the return within 10 days of receipt and you will be able to send it back (at your expense) for a full refund, no questions asked!
