Delivery Information

While we aim to provide a good forecast of delivery date, it should be remembered that these are estimates and we cannot be held liable for any loss arising from a late delivery. Items in the same order will be dispatched together once all the products in question are in stock: individual items within an order cannot be dispatched separately.

MODMYPI working days are Mon to Fri, excluding national holidays, and we aim to ship all orders placed before 2pm on the same working day. Next working day delivery applies to orders placed before 1pm only.

We ship all orders extremely fast and cannot modify, cancel or combine orders once they have been placed. If you've already placed an order, it cannot be changed. Please make sure you carefully check your order before you check out.

To calculate the shipping cost for your order:

  • Please add your desired items to your basket
  • Enter your basket, labelled "My Bag"
  • Enter your shipping country, city and postcode in the box labelled Estimate Shipping & Taxes in My Bag
  • This will allow you to calculate your shipping cost before checkout 

Order Status

Processing - Your order has been received, and our payment provider has confirmed payment.

Processed - Stock has been allocated to your order, and our warehouse team is in the process of picking, packaging, and labelling your order ready for dispatch.

Shipped - Your order has been released by our warehouse team into the hands of our delivery partner.

On Hold - We are awaiting a response from you regarding an issue with your order.

Verification Required - We are awaiting a response from you regarding payment verification.

Voided - Our payment provider could not confirm payment, your order will not be processed.

Delivery in the UK - Royal Mail

UK parcels are sent via Royal Mail 48 Tracked, and should be with you within 1 - 2 working days, including Saturdays. Please note these times are defined by Royal Mail as a delivery aim, and are not guaranteed by us or by Royal Mail, for more information on Royal Mail click here. UK orders sent via a tracked service, can be tracked using Royal Mail's tracking service here.

UK large letters are sent via Royal Mail 48 Large Letter, and should be delivered within 1 - 2 working days, including Saturdays. This is not a tracked service. Please note these times are defined by Royal Mail as a delivery aim, and are not guaranteed by us or by Royal Mail, for more information on Royal Mail click here.

We do not offer refunds if Royal Mail deliver items outside of their delivery aim unless that item is subject to loss or excessive delay as outlined below in the section "Loss or Delayed Item Claim Process"

Delivery in the UK - DHL Express

DHL Express promises to deliver packages before the end of the next working day in the UK.  DHL Express have a 98% success rate in delivering orders within this time frame, however this is not a guarantee.

In the interest of customer satisfaction, if an order is not delivered by the end of the 2nd working day, ModMyPi will issue a "no questions asked" voucher to the value of the shipping paid for use on your next order, or a full refund for the shipping paid.

Next working day delivery applies to orders placed before 1pm only.

Delays caused by extraordinary circumstances, such as severe weather, are not covered by our guarantee

Delays caused by the customer, such as not being available for delivery, or providing incorrect delivery details, are not covered by our guarantee.

Delivery in Europe and the Rest of the World - Royal Mail

Orders sent for delivery to Europe and the rest of the World are processed by Royal Mail's International Business Parcel Priority Service. Delivery will usually take place within 5 - 15 working days.

All orders over £25 are sent via a tracked or signed for service, depending on the delivery region. Orders under this value will be sent as a standard postal parcel or letter, unless otherwise requested (at an additional fee) by the customer. 

International orders sent via a tracked service can be tracked using the TrackIT International Tracking Service

Due to poor mail coverage, and high likelihood of package loss, we do not ship to the following regions - Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and Palestine

Delivery in Europe and the Rest of the World - DHL Express & Economy Select

Orders sent for delivery in Europe are dispatched via DHL Economy Select, and should be delivered within 1 - 4 working days. 

Orders sent for delivery outside of the UK and Europe are dispatched via DHL Express, and should be delivered within 1 - 4 working days.

Some zones may fall outside the 1 - 4 working day window, especially in remote areas. More accurate estimates of delivery time scales via DHL to specific destinations are available on the DHL Service Guide under the Transit Times section.

DHL have a 96% success rate in delivering orders within this time frame, however this is not a guaranteeDue to the nature of international deliveries, and the complex import procedure in some countries, we do not guarantee the delivery times specified, and they should be regarded as estimates only.

Tracking Codes

If you chose to send your order via a tracked service, your tracking details will be emailed to you the next possible working day. For example, an order marked as "shipped" on a Friday by our warehouse team will have their tracking details delivered automatically via email on Monday. Tracking numbers are not live until processed by Royal Mail, hence the short delay between dispatch and tracking availability. 

Loss or Delayed Item Claim Process

We cannot guarantee delivery in the periods specified. However, if the order remains undelivered for a period of 20 working days (International) or 10 working days (UK) following the date of dispatch, we will either process a refund of the order or alternatively dispatch the order again. Once this time period has expired we can raise a claim with our carrier Royal Mail. More information on Royal Mail's claim process can be found here. This waiting period requirement is specified by our carrier Royal Mail, and we cannot raise a claim prior to this unfortunately.

In order to raise a claim for a lost package, we ask you to fill out a short form, and complete a few checks. Through this process, we can ensure that your package is not waiting for you anywhere.

Please note, there are exclusions from the quoted waiting periods as follows:

Russia & Brazil - Due to complex customs import procedures, delays are very likely in this region. Orders shipped via Royal Mail are subject to a delivery period of up to 25 working days. We can only raise a lost claim after this time period has expired.

Shipping Lithium Batteries

Tighter shipping regulations introduced in 2017 relating to the shipping of battery products have forced us to make some changes to the way that battery containing products are shipped. We cannot currently ship "loose" batteries, or batteries not contained in equipment via any air services (including Royal Mail Airmail, and DHL Express services). To use these services, the battery must be contained within or connected to an electronic device, and there must not be more than 2 cells (Royal Mail), or 4 cells (DHL) per shipment. We have therefore placed quantity restrictions on items that contain batteries. You will not be able to checkout with these services if "loose" batteries, or more than 4 battery containing products are in your cart.

Lithium batteries are defined as Lithium Polymer, and Lithium Metal (Coin Type) batteries.

UK and EU shipments to the following destinations can be made via a ground service (DHL Domestic, or DHL Economy Select), and there are no limits on quantity for any batteries, or battery containing products. However, they must be shipped via a DHL ground service.

Free UK Shipping Terms & Conditions

Orders > £50 Ex-VAT

Free UK shipping for orders over £50 Ex-VAT is offered via our Royal Mail tracked 48 service and applies to domestic shipments only. Free UK shipping only applies to orders that do not contain:

  • Loose batteries
  • Batteries not contained in equipment
  • Over two battery containing products

Lithium battery products as defined above must by shipped our premium DHL service. If you are not being offered free UK shipping, please remove and loose batteries, or battery not in equipment products, and reduce the quantity of any battery containing products to two or less.

Orders > £100 Ex-VAT

Free UK shipping for orders over £100 Ex-VAT is offered via our DHL Express service. There are no restrictions on shipping battery products with this service domestically.
