Genuino Micro Zebra Case Assembly Instructions

Genuino Micro Zebra Case Assembly Instructions

The laser-cut parts of the case are protected by an adhesive film which needs to be removed before assembly.

Bill of Materials

  • Genuino Micro (not included)
  • 5x Acrylic Plates
  • 4x M3 x 25mm Nylon Bolt
  • 4x M3 Nylon Nut

NOTE: Acrylic is a hard and stiff plastic which is sensitive to stress concentrations and shares a certain level of fragility with glass. Acrylic can scratch easily and should be cleaned with a mild solution of dish detergent and warm water. Never use cleaners unsuitable for acrylic. Never use a dry, abrasive cloth.

Here are the parts from the case kit:

Follow these images checking parts and orientation of the acrylic pieces. You will see a before and after image for each step. Make sure you have all the parts ready, shown in the before picture.

Start by stacking these three pieces of acrylic on top of each other. Start with the thicker clear piece on the bottom, then the black piece, then finally the thin clear piece on top.

Place the Micro on to the stack. The board should sit on the corners of the black piece, with the thin clear piece going around the outside of the board.

Next, we need to add the remaining acrylic pieces to the stack. Place the black piece on first, followed by the clear piece.

Now all we need to do is insert the bolts through each of the corner mounting holes, and secure with the nuts.

You may wish to trim the bolts down, this can be done with a sharp knife, or a pair of scissors.
